| Jack Giamoro (Ben Affleck) is a Hollywood talent agent at the top of his profession. He seems to have it all; a successful career, more than enough money, and a trophy wife. Still he feels that his life is not full, something is missing. So Giamoro decides to take a journal writing class to help him more explore his inner feelings. When Giamoro discovers that his wife Nina (Rebecca Romijin) is having an affair with his main client, his life quickly unravels. Terrible events turn even worse when his journal, full of personal and professional secrets, is stolen by an ambitious and unscrupulous journalist Barbi (Bai Ling). Giamoro has to fight hard to hold onto everything that he has gained in life, and in this process, as a continuation of his journaling, he discovers more about himself and that the source of lasting happiness can be found through family. |
