Handling
John Kreese (Martin Cove) owner of the Cobra-Kai Dojo, having been defeated by Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) is forced to close his martial arts center for lack of students and a blow to his reputation. Kreese however has one final card up his sleeve to get revenge on the Master-Student team that has foiled him so many times. Kreese visits an old friend from the Vietnam War, a rich and cunning business man and martial arts master named Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith). Silver hatches a devious plan and sends Terry away so he can say he is dead. Silver goes to visit Mr. Miyagi and Daniel pretending that he comes to apologize for the behavior of his now deceased friend Kreese. Silver ingratiates himself to Daniel and tries to gain Miyagi’s trust by showing his knowledge of Miyagi’s service in World War 2 while excusing his friendship with the supposedly dead Kreese by passing of Kreese’s behavior as post traumatic stress. Silver pays on Daniels sense of competition to try and get him to participate in another upcoming Karate tournament, Miyagi objects to Daniels involvement but Daniel insists and a rift begins to form between the two. Miyagi refuses to train Daniel but Kreese seizes the moment and offers to train Daniel in his punishing and brutal training program he calls “Quick Silver”, Daniel agrees. Daniel begins training and is accosted by Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan) who is the current tournament champion, which is yet another part of Silvers plan to distract Daniel and force him to work harder in training to the point of injuring himself. Things come to a head at the tournament where Daniel and Miyagi learn to there surprise that Kreese is very much alive and they have been tricked. (Not a part of my review, please delete) Hello, I noticed you have accepted all of my reviews from Mechanical Turk such as the ones for Dracula, The Blob etc I have responded to in the last few days. This is a rather inappropriate means of contact but I thought I might offer my services to you directly at the same rate of pay. I am partially disabled and work at home and with my experience and knowledge of movies I would love the opportunity to write for you and Collectorz. com on a piece work basis or otherwise. I am a published author and helped co-author the source material for the RPG gaming industry including the book “Relics & Rituals 2”. I would have contacted you on your website but did not know who to email and did not want to annoy the wrong person. I have an extensive knowledge of movies particularly Western, Horror, Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres. I noticed you add a few movies to be reviewed daily and perhaps we could work something out where you can send me a list and I can pick the ones I have seen or can research for review and return a list of the ones I cannot for lack of knowledge of the release? I apologize for contacting you this way and if you are offended or do not wish to communicate with me about this please disregard this message and I will continue to turn in reviews on Mechanicl Turk, I understand you are busy so there is no need to contact me if this proposal doesn’t interest you. Thanks for your indulgence,Darrellstrangedos@windstream. net1-706-695-2877 (US)
